Marrakech
Your 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes begins bright and early. Departure is at 7:30 AM from Marrakech, heading towards Kelaat M'gouna in the Dades Valley. The journey takes you through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, ascending to Tizi-n-Tichka, one of Morocco’s highest road passes at 2,260 meters. Here, you can capture stunning photos of the panoramic views. Along the way, you’ll pass charming Berber villages and scenic landscapes before arriving at the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the backdrop for numerous Hollywood films. After lunch, we continue to Kelaat M'gouna, renowned for its Valley of Roses, especially vibrant during the rose season (mid-April to mid-May). The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at a comfortable hotel.

Day 2
TINGHIR – MERZOUGA – SAHARA DESERT

After breakfast, we journey to the stunning Todra Gorge, one of Morocco's most breathtaking natural wonders. Carved into the ochre cliffs of the High Atlas Mountains, the gorge features towering walls that soar 300 meters high, narrowing to just 20 meters at their slimmest point. The area is a paradise for nature lovers, with its vivid blue skies and serene atmosphere. It also offers excellent climbing opportunities, with well-equipped routes suitable for beginners and moderate climbers alike. Following lunch, we head to Tinjdad to explore the ancient Khettara underground canal system, an ingenious irrigation network used for centuries. Our journey continues to Merzouga, home to the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest in North Africa. Along the way, we pass through lush oases, including the picturesque Tinjdad Oasis, and enjoy views of the verdant palm groves of Ziz-Tafilalet and the rocky Hamada landscape.

Day 3
MERZOUGA – MIDELT – IFRAN – FES

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi—an unforgettable highlight of the Merzouga desert. After breakfast, we begin our journey to Fes, passing through the stunning Ziz Valley, where the lush palm groves provide the perfect backdrop for memorable photos. Our route continues to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you'll encounter playful monkeys along the way, offering an entertaining break. You'll have plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs, enjoy coffee breaks, savor lunch, and take photos as we travel through scenic forests, valleys, and mountains. Next, we visit Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Morocco," known for its pristine beauty and reputation as the cleanest city in Morocco. By around 6 PM, we will arrive in Fes and drop you off at your Riad or hotel, marking the end of your incredible Marrakech to Fes desert tour.
