The meeting point is very visual the Plaza de las Platerías is a relatively small square and the only square of the cathedral that has a fountain and the fountain of horses is in the center. The guide has a very visible green umbrella.

Your journey begins in the charming Platerías Square, home to the Cathedral’s oldest façade. Marvel at its intricate Romanesque reliefs and stone carvings as your guide reveals the secrets hidden within it. You’ll also see the largest scallop shell in Santiago and discover the surprising story behind the elegant Casa do Cabildo, an 18th-century architectural gem.

2Plaza del Obradoiro
From there, we'll head to Obradoiro Square, the heart of Santiago and the city's most famous image. Admire the spectacular Baroque façade of the Cathedral while your guide brings centuries of history to life. You’ll also discover the importance of the majestic buildings surrounding the square, including the former pilgrims’ hostel: it's one of the oldest hotels in the world!

3Praza da Inmaculada
Our route continues through Azabachería Square, where you’ll dive deeper into the origins of the Camino de Santiago and the incredible pilgrimage tradition that has shaped the city for centuries. Can you spot the legendary Cross of Rags, linked to ancient pilgrim rituals?

4Praza da Quintana de Vivos
In Quintana Square, you'll stand before the famous Holy Door, opened only during Holy Years, and hear the stories and traditions connected to this sacred entrance. Just across the square, you'll find a cloistered convent where nuns prepare one of Santiago's most delicious traditional almond cakes.

6Parque de la Alameda
To finish the tour, we’ll head into the Alameda, where you’ll see the statue of the Two Marias (we’ll tell you their story) and the “Lovers’ Tree.” From this tree, you'll enjoy the best view of Santiago de Compostela's historic quarter. You'll get some spectacular photos!
