OC Bay Hopper is the only trip in Ocean City Maryland that offers a hands on crabbing experience. We will depart from our 118th street location in Ocean City Maryland. The captain will explain how to find and get crabs from the Assawoman Bay. He will provide and teach you how to use all the necessary equipment. The captain will explain how to hold and measure the crabs so that you can then keep those that are of legal size. You get to keep the legal size crabs to enjoy for lunch or dinner after the trip.

Located in the Ocean City Square, our kiosk is right next to the Food Lion on the corner where the canal is. You can not miss us, just look for the water and you will see our kiosk. There is plenty of parking here, so once you get a spot head into our Kiosk and check in with our staff member.

What to expect

Hop onboard for a crabbing adventure! During this experience, you will be able to get hands-on experience on how to catch crabs fresh from the bay. Crabbing is a very unique trade that is special to Ocean City, as this is how many people make a living in this area. You and your friends or family will help the captain pull crab pots while he tells you all about the different parts of the crabs!

The best part is that you get to keep the crabs that pass the legal size (you'll learn about this too!). The crabs will be divided evenly among the groups onboard. This two-hour-long trip is truly one of a kind and always sells out, so be sure to book your spot today!
