Cycling to the top of Mt. Akagi is one of the most famous courses in Japan. With an elevation gain of 1313 m (4300 ft), it's a tough climb on a normal road bike. So for this tour, so we will use e-bikes. The boost from the electric-assist motor makes the climb easier, while you still get the satisfaction of pedaling your way up the mountain. A local cycling guide will embark on the challenge with you to show you the route and cheer you on.

We provide e-bike rental, helmet, and water, so all you have to do is show up! Please do arrive in your favorite cycling clothes.

    We start the tour from Maebashi station and head for Mt. Akagi.

    Cycle to the top of Mt. Akagi. It's one of the most popular places for hill climbing. It sounds very hard, but e-bikes make it easier! The ride up is 22 km (13 miles), and takes about 2 hours. At the top we will go to a restaurant for lunch (included).
