Learn about the medieval history of Spain visiting two of its most important cities where important historical events took place. When you arrive in Cuenca our guide will take you through the streets of the centre to the Plaza Mayor, where you will pass the first Gothic Cathedral of Castile. Marvel at the "Casas Colgadas", beautiful balconies hanging over a cliff formed by the riverbed. At the second stop, when you arrive in Toledo you will have time to try the typical gastronomy on your own and get to know the daily life of the people of Toledo from the "Plaza Zocodover", the heart of the city. You will walk through the streets of the historic centre of Toledo where Jews, Muslims and Christians once lived together, and learn about El Greco and the art he left in every corner of Toledo. The view from the viewpoint "Mirador del Valle"will leave you speechless!

Meeting and pickup
The guide will be waiting at the corner of Alcala Street and Julio Camba Street. Leave the metro at the Ventas stop and take the Julio Camba Street exit. Be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the tour starts.

We will begin the tour of the ruins of the Castle of Cuenca. From there we will begin our walking tour of the historic city centre.

The guided tour will begin at the Castle of Cuenca, located at the top of the city. Unfortunately, very little remains of this building and what is left of it is just two cubic constructions, remains of the walls and the Bezudo Arch, the last reform was produced in the time of Philip II.
