Day 1
DAY 1: DONG HOI / HUE – CUA VIET PORT – CON CO ISLAND – DISCOVER THE BEAUTY OF THE ISLAND

04:00 AM: Pick-up from designated locations in Dong Hoi City or Hue City and transfer to Cua Viet Port. 07:30 AM: Arrive at Cua Viet Port and complete boarding procedures for the high-speed boat to Con Co Island. The journey across the sea takes approximately 60–90 minutes. 08:00 AM: Departure for Con Co Island. 09:00 AM: Arrive on the island. Our vehicle and tour guide will transfer you to your accommodation for check-in and luggage storage before starting the island exploration. 09:30 AM: Visit and take photos at the National Sovereignty Flagpole, the Island Traditional House, and the Memorial Monument Area.

National Sovereignty Flagpole The Con Co Island Flagpole stands 38.8 meters high with a 24-square-meter national flag, making it one of the largest flagpoles on Vietnam’s coastal islands. More than a tourist attraction, it symbolizes Vietnam’s sovereignty and independence over its seas and islands. Island Traditional House The Traditional House preserves and displays historical artifacts and photographs documenting the island’s formation, wartime history, development, and achievements. It also serves as an educational and cultural center for locals, soldiers, and visitors. Here, visitors can learn more about the history of Con Co Island while admiring preserved marine specimens displayed inside the museum. Memorial Monument Built on an area of more than 1,000 square meters and standing 28.5 meters high, the memorial honors 104 martyrs who sacrificed their lives protecting and supplying Con Co Island during wartime.

11:00 AM: Enjoy a local seafood lunch featuring fresh specialties from Con Co Island. 12:30 PM: Return to the hotel/guesthouse for a short rest before the afternoon activities. 02:30 PM: Begin a sightseeing tour around the island by electric car. Con Co Island is famous for its peaceful scenery and “chill” photo spots. Every coastal road and corner of the island offers beautiful landscapes worth capturing.

Ben Nghe The first stop is Ben Nghe, the place where the first sunrise appears on the island, closely associated with the local fishermen’s daily life and marine ecosystem. Continue to Song Huong Beach and Bai Tranh Beach. Along the way, guests can stop for photos and listen to introductions about the island’s unique tree species, many of which are recognized as Vietnam Heritage Trees, such as: Square Banyan Tree Sea Lettuce Tree (Phong Ba Tree) Lien Diep Dong Tree These trees have become powerful symbols of life and resilience on the island. Don’t miss the chance to take beautiful photos with the iconic Phong Ba Trees and admire the famous square fruits.

03:00 PM: Travel through the primeval forest to visit the Lighthouse and Thai Van A Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Con Co Island from a height of 63 meters. You may climb the lighthouse to fully appreciate the majestic scenery of the island and surrounding sea. Here, the tour guide will also introduce the heroic story of Thai Van A, who defended the skies of Con Co Island during the fiercest years of the resistance war against America. 04:00 PM: Return to prepare for the beach swimming and coral diving experience by boat. Local fishermen and boatmen will take guests to the coral reef area. You will be provided with snorkeling equipment and safety gear before exploring the colorful underwater world. 05:30 PM: Return to the hotel for shower and rest and dinner at a local restaurant. Continue your culinary experience with famous island specialties, especially the giant “King Oyster,” a unique seafood delicacy much larger than ordinary oysters and rarely found elsewhere.

Day 2
DAY 2: SUNRISE – SEA GRAPE HARVESTING – RETURN TO THE MAINLAND

05:00 AM: Free time to visit Ben Nghe and watch the sunrise over the sea. Guests can also experience harvesting fresh sea grapes and bring some back for cooking later in the day. 07:00 AM: Return to the guesthouse for breakfast and personal hygiene. Breakfast is usually local-style tapioca porridge or instant noodles with squid. 08:00 AM: Board the high-speed boat back to Cua Viet Port. 09:00 AM: Arrive at Cua Viet Port. End of the tour.
