Once located outside Edo castle’s mote, the area has historic landscape garden and still remains atmosphere as entertainment district. The tour starts with strolling along in Korakuen garden where you can enjoy changing landscapes of ocean, river, mountain and countryside in center of Tokyo. The garden is special in that it imitates famous Japanese/Chinese landscapes. Seasonal trees and flowers surrounding garden’s pond are remarkable. Next visit Kagurazaka area where used to be an entertainment district retaining those days. The guide will navigate to backstreet, another Kagurazaka and modern shine and complex facility uniquely designed by Kengo Kuma, architecture of Japan National stadium. Lastly we visit Sensoji temple, the oldest temple in Japan.

    The tour starts with strolling in Koishikawa Korakuen landscape garden where used to be one of the major Daimyo feudal lord's gardens. The garden mimics famous Japanese and Chinese landscapes, and consists of four landscapes of ocean, river, mountain and countryside. The tour guide will talk about the history and unique aspects of the garden.

    Next the tour visits Kagurazaka area where used to be an entertainment district remaining sophisticated atmosphere and now unique plant art and handcraft shops are lined.

    Sensoji temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo is very familiar to locals as Asakusa Kananon Bodhisatva is enshrined. The main gate is Kaminari mon or Thunder gate, well known for its big red lantern. Created during the feudal age, Nakamise dori is the oldest shopping street in Tokyo and lined with around 90 shops and restaurants, where you can enjoy various street food and shopping Japanese souvenirs for your family and friends.Out of Asakusa station you can find Golden object toward Sumida river. What is the golden object ? Built by Asahi Beer company, the golden object is said to be the golden flame in the image of burning passion of Asahi Beer employees, and called “la Flamme d’Or” in French.
