Mardi Himalaya Trek
Mardi Himal Trek is one of the most beautiful treks here in Nepal where you can view beautiful Himalayan range up close. This trek has been started just few years ago,which is why this trek can be called as an unknown gem. Not many trekkers make their way to the mardi himal base camp, which is just perfectly positioned at the base of Mardi himal and the Annapurna region,getting the most awesome view of the iconic mount Machapucchre. Numbers of new basic lodges and homestays have been built along mardi Gimal ridge which is why we will have comfortable accommodation in a lodge.
The trails follows along small winding paths, through enchanted rhododendron forests, until you reach out of the forest at an elevation around 3300 meter. You will start from an altitude of 800m at Phedi, and then trek as high as 4700 meters to Mardi Himal Base camp.Once you reach the base camp you will get to see very beautiful panoramic views of the mountains.

What to expect

Mardi himal provides classic trekking experience as this trek includes the beautiful villages, flora and fauna, wildlifes, stunning panoramic views and range of landscape seen from forest to high alpine. From Mardi Himal we can view Annapurna South, Mt. Machhapucchr , Mt Himchuli and lot more. As Mardi Himal trekking is recently opened for tourist and also one of the most remote treks in Annapurna region, you can enjoy nature at it’s best.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, 5-6 hours drive in private vehicle
Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Kande,trek to pitam deurali(2100m), 1 hour drive,5-6 hours trek
Day 4: Trek to Pitam Deurali to Kokar Forest camp(3050m) 6 hours trek
Day 5: Trek from Kokar Forest camp to Low camp (2550m) 4 hours trek
Day 6: Trek from Low camp to High camp(3900m), 4 hours trek
Day 7: Trek from High camp to upper view point(4250m) -2.5 hours / Mardi Himal Base camp(4500m)-4 hours and return back to high camp.
Day8: Trek from High camp to sidhing(1700m) 7 hours trek
Day 9: Trek from Sidhing to Lumre and drive to Pokhara(900m) 3hrs trek
Day 10: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 11: Departure from Kathmandu.
