Cat Cat Village is a traditional H’mong village located about 2–3 km from Sapa town. It is well known for its stunning mountain scenery, terraced rice fields, and rich cultural heritage. Visitors can explore traditional wooden houses, a historic French-era hydroelectric station, and a picturesque waterfall. The village also offers insights into local handicrafts such as weaving and indigo dyeing, along with cultural performances. It is an easy-to-access destination, ideal for travelers seeking a short cultural experience
After visiting Cat Cat Village, travelers will continue by car to Lao Chai Village, located in the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley, around 7–8 km from Sapa. Home to the Black H’mong people, Lao Chai is famous for its expansive terraced rice fields and breathtaking mountain landscapes. The village offers an authentic glimpse into local life, traditional farming, and a peaceful atmosphere.
From Lao Chai Village, the journey continues with a scenic trekking route to Ta Van Village. This walk allows travelers to fully experience the natural beauty of the Muong Hoa Valley, passing through rice fields, streams, and local villages along the way. Ta Van, home to the Giay ethnic group, is known for its tranquil setting, traditional homestays, and rich cultural experiences, making it a perfect place to relax and connect with local life. From Ta Van Village, our car will pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel.
