This tour is more than just trekking — it’s a genuine cultural experience that lets you live like a local in Sapa. You’ll not only walk through the stunning rice terraces and ethnic villages but also stay overnight in a private bungalow in Ta Van Village, surrounded by nature and local life.

What truly makes this experience special is the opportunity to connect with the H’mong people through daily activities — picking vegetables in the garden, shopping at the village market, and cooking a traditional meal together.

In the evening, you’ll join a unique indigo dyeing workshop, learning the ancient H’mong craft of coloring fabric with natural dye. You’ll get to make your own indigo-dyed fabric— a one-of-a-kind souvenir created by your own hands.

This tour combines adventure, culture, and authenticity — giving you a rare chance to trek, taste, and create alongside the people who call Sapa home.

What to expect

Your 2-day Sapa adventure begins with a scenic trek from Sapa Town through beautiful mountain villages — Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van.

Upon arrival in Ta Van Village, you’ll check in to your private bungalow, unpack, and relax. Later, you can join a local host to pick fresh vegetables from the garden or visit the local market to buy ingredients for dinner. Together, you’ll return to the homestay to cook and share a traditional meal with the local family.

After dinner, you’ll discover a unique H’mong indigo dyeing tradition. Your host will show you how to dye fabric using natural indigo — a technique used to make their traditional clothes. You’ll receive a piece of fabric to dye yourself, which you can take home as a meaningful handmade souvenir from Sapa.

On Day 2, after breakfast, check out and continue trekking through Giang Ta Chai Village, the Bamboo Forest, and Su Pan Village. At the end of the trail, a car will be waiting to take you back to Sapa Town, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
