1San Jose
Welcome to San José, Costa Rica. Reception at the Juan Santamaría airport and transfer to the hotel in San José. The capital of San José is located in the middle of the Central Valley and in the center of the country, considered one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Latin America. The city is located in a strategic point near the main tourist attractions such as: historical buildings, museums, theaters, artisan markets, beautiful parks, shopping centers and offers a varied gastronomic offer.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, transfer or delivery of 4x4 rental car to the hotel, towards the Northern Plains. There the impressive Arenal Volcano awaits you, one of the natural wonders of the country due to its majesty. Nowadays there are no lava eruptions, but you can see the smoke or ash being spewed out of the top of the volcano and you can enjoy the hot springs in the area. Along the route and until you reach the town of La Fortuna, you will be able to see agricultural plantations, ornamental plants and livestock farms.

3Arenal Volcano National Park
We will visit the La Fortuna waterfall, here we will have a view of its 70 m. high and a 500-step walk to the base where a "natural pool" awaits if you want to swim in the fresh water of the La Fortuna River. Then, we will have lunch at an organic production farm near La Fortuna. At 3:00 p.m., we continue to Arenal 1968 Park, here the guide will tell about the natural and geological history of the volcano, walk along a solid lava path and enjoy an excellent view of the Arenal Lake and Volcano.

4Monteverde
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Monteverde, with an expanse of rainforests, cloud forests and spectacular biodiversity. Monteverde is home to one of the rarest and most unique habitats on the planet and an astonishing variety of flora and fauna. With their unique position on the continental divide between the Caribbean and the Pacific coasts, cloud forests offer a very particular microclimate for the numerous species that inhabit this area. During the journey, you will observe truly beautiful landscapes and pass through some typical towns of the country.

5Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart in the morning to explore the Monteverde Cloud Forest while traversing various trails and a series of suspension bridges at different levels of a wonderfully diverse ecosystem, with full views of the forest canopy. Complement your day with a visit to the Monteverde Butterfly Garden and also learn about the insects and arachnids of Costa Rica that will change the way you think about these small and misunderstood creatures. This garden offers you up to 30 species of butterflies in 4 different habitats and more than 20 species of live insects and arachnids. Accommodation at the hotel of your choice.

6Playa Manuel Antonio
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will begin your journey descending from the mountains towards the warm coast of the Central Pacific. If your choice is Manuel Antonio, this park is the smallest of the national parks in Costa Rica but also one of the most visited for its beautiful beaches among mountains, forests and the wildlife in its natural habitat that it offers.

7Manuel Antonio
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart in the morning to hike in the Manuel Antonio Park, which is considered one of natural jewels for its abundant diversity of wildlife. It is the smallest of the national parks in Costa Rica but also one of the most visited for its beautiful beaches. It has several walking trails, viewpoints and the probability of encountering animals in their natural habitat. At various points in the park, trails branch out and lead to four separate beaches: Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, Escondida and Playita.

8San Jose
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure transfer to the Juan Santamaría Airport in San José. If your flight leaves before 4:00 p.m. and your transport is shared regular, you will require a private transfer for an additional amount. Happy return trip, we look forward to having you visit again.
