There are three branches of the Great Silk Road along Tajikistan: 1) North / Sogdian stretches between Samarkand (Uzbekistan) and Kashgar (China); 2) West–East / Karotegin stretches between Termez (Uzbekistan) and Kashgar (China); 3) South / Pamir stretches between Termez (Uzbekistan) and Tashkent (China).
These ancient routes were formed by the Persian, Greek, Chinese and Arab peoples, who made a huge contribution to the socio–economic relations — trade and culture of the whole world between the V – XII centuries.
In order to learn more about the contribution of this way to the culture and civilization of the Tajik people, there will be presented a tour package “Great Silk Road in Tajikistan”

Fortress and Museum of Hisor – Teahouse "Kharbuza" Museum of Mirzo Tursunzod From Dushanbe International airport our driver with a car will pick up you than you will drive to Hissar Fortress used to be a palace of one of Bukhara Emirate becks. The fortress with 1 m walls and loopholes for guns and cannons towered on a high hill's slope and was carefully guarded. Inside there was a pool and a garden. Across from the fortress there was a noisy market square with a caravanserai and a variety of shops. Hissar Fortress and the town had been settled from VI BC to mid of XIX. It was the main administrative, political and economical centre of Hissar valley. Teahouse Kharbuza — is unique in the world, it was built in the form of a melon (the Taj: - kharbuza). The teahouse, with a height of 43 meters, length 100 meters, width of 55 meters, is designed to receive 2.3 thousand visitors at a time. Return to Dushanbe / hotel

Obi Garm resort is located just over 95 km away from Dushanbe. The sanatorium is classified as “balneoclimatic”. Local attractions are healing springs of mineral waters. Here you can take healing baths and showers. Healing water steam for therapeutic purposes comes to the surface from the ground. It contains a fairly large concentration of radon, which has a positive effect on body.

Darai Kamarob, including fishing – Navobod town GARM is an urban-type settlement. In the past, the city and the regional center of Karotegin, the Bekian Mountain, which is part of the Bukhara khanate, was on the Great Silk Road. There was a large Bazaar in the city. Navobod is a town and jamoat in Tajikistan. It is located in Garm District in Districts of Republican Subordination province. Rasht District or Nohiyai Rasht formerly called Gharm District, is an eastern district in the Region of Republican Subordination in Tajikistan. It lies between Vahdat district on the and Jirgatol district on the east; its southern neighbors are Nurobod, Tavildara, and Tojikobod districts; its northern border runs along the eastern finger of Sughd Province and along the international border with Kyrgyzstan. Central town of Vahdat – sanatorium “Tundikul” Vahdat – one the largest region of Tajikistan and the administrative center of the city of Vahdat is located 20 km. east of the capital city (Dushanbe). Vahdat formed on September 17, 1927 as the Yangi-Bazarsky area and is one of the developed and prosperous regions of Tajikistan where you can successfully enter the business, including in the areas of agriculture, trade, construction and processing of fruits and vegetables, animal husbandry, and so on. Reserve is reached by taking the main road east to Vahdat (Kafirnihan), a small post-industrial town. Tundikul— health resort at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. Healing spring, which is formed in the lower gorges in the river, it attracted the attention of the masses of people for the purpose of treatment and restoration of health. End of the tour: return to Dushanbe.
