Take the chance to visit in just one day the ruins of the Roman city
of Pompeii, the most famous and evocative archaeological site in
the world, and to hike on the volcano Vesuvius, which caused the
destruction of this city in 79 AD. This tour is available all over the
year, and it starts from Naples every day. After Pompeii, drive up Mt
Vesuvius and you can choose to stop in a typical restaurant located
in a panoramic place along the slopes. You will complete this memorable tour with the unforgettable tasting experience, starting with a guided walk through the vineyards on the slopes of Vesuvius overlooking the Gulf of Naples, Sorrento and the island of Capri.
Secondly, we will visit the cellar where the Lacryma Christi DOC end of the session is displayed for a wine tasting, combined with samples of local specialties from this little corner of paradise on Vesuvius.

Go back to the past and discover the majestic Pompeii Ruins, a place frozen in time! An unmissable half-day tour that will allow you, literally, to walk the streets of Roman history, discovering incredible architectural masterpieces under the guidance of a knowledgeable archeological guide. After just a 30 minute journey from Naples, you will reach the most significant archaeological sites in the world: in 1748, the long-forgotten town of Pompeii began to be uncovered from its ash-filled grave. It’s air and water-proof covering had left the remains in pristine condition and they gave a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in a Roman town. Your professional guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the cobbled streets of Pompeii Ruins, built two thousand years ago, where you will admire incredible evidence of civilization, architecture, and art, such as the Stabian Baths, the Forum, the area of theaters, the House of the Faun and the House of the Tragic Poet.

After the visit of the Pompeii tour, you will finish your day with the unforgettable wine tasting experience, starting with a guided walk through the vineyards on the slopes of Vesuvius overlooking the Gulf of Naples, Sorrento and the island of Capri. Secondly, we will visit the cellar where the Lacryma Christi DOC end of the session is displayed for a wine tasting, combined with samples of local specialties from this little corner of paradise on Vesuvius. TASTING MENU: • Appetizer with local products: salami, provolone, "casatiello" (salty bread) and bruschetta with heirloom Piennolo tomatoes, olives and aubergines roasted on bread cooked in a wood oven, combined with Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Bianco DOP or Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio SUPERIORE White DOP (100% caprettone), Rosé DOP (100% Piedirosso) and Red DOP or Rosso SUPERIORE DOP (100% piedirosso). • Spaghetti made from durum wheat flour and seasoned with heirloom sauce of Piennolo tomatoes and basil, combined with Lacryma Christi Riserva (80% Piedirosso and 20% Aglianico, aged in French oak barrels for 18-24 months). Traditional Neapolitan dessert, combined with Capafresca Rosé Spumante (100% Aglianico) and Passito Bianco IGT, our sweet dessert wine.
