  Transfer to Mt. Vesuvius and a optional lunch break in a typical restaurant on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius or Pompei. Get on the top of the volcano to see the crater that still smokes slightly. Besides that, you will have a stunning panorama of the Bay of Naples, Capri, Ischia, the edge of the Sorrento coast and more. The last 500m is a very steep uphill walk, and closed-in shoes are essential. At the end of the visit, back to your cruise ship or accommodation in Salerno, Naples or Amalfi coast.
