You will visit three extraordinary sites in the surroundings of Pompeii with private transportation in a modern Minivan and a licensed guide.

This tour will lead you into the most extraordinary places in the archaeological area of Vesuvius: the villas at Stabiae, the Villas of Poppea at Oplontis and the Antiquarium in Boscoreale.

When Vesuvius erupted on 24 August AD 79, it engulfed the two flourishing Roman towns of Pompei and Herculaneum, as well as the wealthy villages of Oplontis and Stabiae.

    The Excavations of Oplontis are located in the city of Torre Annunziata. Oplontis is one of the Vesuvius areas that were buried by the eruption of 79 AD. The archeological digs in this area are referable to a peripheral urban centre under the jurisdiction of Pompeii.
