    Our tour guide will take you for a city excursion in and around Kigali so that you are oriented about this great country with a thousand hills. After the city tour, which may last up to 3 hours, Lunch in Kigali then you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park located in the North of Ruhengeri via the dramatic and beautiful terraced hills showing a clear picture of the general landscape and altitude of Rwanda. By afternoon in Kinigi, visit the demonstration grounds showing the formal life and history of the people of Rwanda. The Iby’lwacu traditional tour is an active interaction between the narrators of the experience and the guests. Guests have the chance to experience hands on some traditional skills used back in the day like hunting, making fire, making beautiful pots out of clay and a demonstration of a dance by the King’s warriors. Evening arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation is at Le bambou Gorilla Lodge.

    Gorilla Tracking in Rwanda

    This morning after an early breakfast, you will report to the park headquarters in time for the briefing conducted by the Rwanda park officials. Make sure you have your packed lunch and a bottle of water as you enter the forest for your gorilla trekking activity. The trek is short and usually lasts about 1 to 4 hours. Time spent with the gorillas is strictly 1 hour for conservation purposes. Later, you will prepare to transfer back to Kigali for your International flights. Reserved for late evening flights through Kigali International airport.
