Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur City is known as city of devote. Bhaktapur Durbar Square contains many showpieces of art, architecture, and historical monuments. Among them, we are going to discover some of the significant sites. We can observe a collection of pagodas and Shikhara-style temples. One temple encompasses a 55-Window Palace made of brick and wood. This durbar square highlights the idols of ancient kings resting on top of stone monoliths. Not only that, the guardian divinities looking out from their shrines and the wood carvings seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony. Some of the highlights of the square are the palace of 55 windows, the Golden Gate, the National Art Gallery, Nyatpole, Pottery Square, etc. Bhaktapur Darbar Square is one of the biggest palaces in Kathmandu valley and one of Nepal’s World Heritage sites. However, in the town, we see Newari people, their culture, and art crafted in the windows, doors, strouts, etc., in the daily use of the stuff.

Changu Narayan Temple
Changunarayan Temple was built in the 7th century and is the oldest temple in Kathmandu valley. The temple is on a list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The local settlements around the temple area and along the route to Nagarkot would be a supplementary attraction to tourists. Their distinct cultures and traditions style is different and attractive. Moreover, you will have enough time to explore the local lifestyle of the Nepali people.
