-Dramatic alpine backdrops: Once in the national park, the session uses New Zealand’s highest mountains, glaciers and even the icebergs on Tasman Lake as backdrops. Very few visitors get personal photos in front of these sights.

-Tailored timing and extras: The itinerary is flexible so that your photographer can adjust stops to catch golden‑hour light at Lake Pukaki or Tasman. If conditions allow, you may even be photographed under the stars or the Milky Way – a rare addition to a couples’ shoot!

What to expect

This isn’t just a photo session – it’s a full‑day adventure through some of the South Island’s most spectacular landscapes. Departing Queenstown, you’ll follow the inland highway toward Aoraki/Mt Cook, stopping at turquoise lakes and alpine towns along the way. Guided by a local female photographer, you’ll have your story captured against New Zealand’s highest mountains, glaciers and – if conditions allow – the icebergs on Tasman Lake. The itinerary is flexible so you can make the most of golden hour light. Gentle direction keeps the moments natural, and if the skies are clear you might even stay to be photographed under the Milky Way. By the end of the day you’ll return with a gallery of images that few visitors can claim – a blend of personal memories and breathtaking scenery.
