This is a culture, traditional and historical tour that includes traditional naming ceremony, visit to Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site and Cape Coast Castle. In the community, the leader will take you through the process of naming a newly born baby thereafter your names are given in Twi or Fante according to tradition and custom and also explain to you the meaning of your names etc. We them go to the Cape Coast Castle for the main slave history by visiting the male and female dungeons, cell, graveyard and visit the DOOR OF NO RETURN.
NB: You can request to go to Elmina Castle instead of Cape Coast Castle depending on your interest but not both castles due to time.

Assin Manso Slave River Site is a sacred river where our enslaved Ancestors had their last bath before matching them to the Cape Coast and Elmina Castles.
After the visit to the river side, we shall come back for the traditional naming ceremony to renamed as Ghanaian or An African where local Twi names are given to you. The community elder will explain to you how a newly born baby is named. enjoy some traditional drumming and dancing as we welcome you to the ceremonial ground.
Cape Coast Castle is built by the British for slavery. At the castle you will be told the history of Trans-Atlantic Slavery, visit the male and female dungeons, condemned cell, palaver hall, graveyard, and the Door of No Return.
