Only 50 minutes from the Auckland CBD, the South Head golf course lies on gentle rolling terrain and features spectacular views of the Kaipara Harbour -- providing the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The course is regarded as one of greater Auckland's "hidden gems" that provides a challenging yet fair test for golfers of all abilities. Because the sand base allows for excellent drainage, it has developed a reputation as a fine all-weather course with sculptured Kikuyu-grassed fairways and manicured greens. We are usually open when others are closed.
