    Hobbiton Movie Set

Visit the exterior filming sets of the movies The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. This is a village so pretty and detailed that it makes you think it's a village where hobbits still live. It's a wonderful village where the hobbits seem to open the door and come out to welcome you. Have fun finding the mixture of real and fake, visit the main character's house and the cafe that is the background of the movie, drink ginger beer and feel like you are the main character of The Hobbit. The tour lasts approximately 150 minutes, and after the tour, we will move to the Auckland City. Travel time is approximately 150 minutes.

Situated off Tamaki Drive near Mission Bay, The Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park is set amongst 49 hectares of land with impressive panoramic views overlooking Waitemata harbour and Rangitoto Island. The tall obelisk, sunken pool and landscaped gardens is a memorial to New Zealand's first Labour Prime Minister (1872 - 1940) and also the founder of the Welfare State. The park provides visitors with sweeping views of Auckland's city skyline and is a popular spot with coach tours and tourists.
