6:pm Our car starting from Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City to Gia Lai by sleeping bus.
The car takes you to Gia Lai early in the morning. The group arrived at Kbang town, stopped for personal hygiene, had breakfast and sipped a cup of strong Central Highlands coffee.
7:00 AM – The group departs for Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve, marking the beginning of an immersive journey into one of the most untouched and pristine rainforests of the Central Highlands. 8:30 AM – You’ll transfer by motorbike or Jeep, riding along rugged red dirt roads to reach the starting point of the trek. Here, your guide will help you warm up and prepare mentally and physically for the adventure ahead. 9:30 AM – The 5-kilometer trek through the primeval forest begins. Accompanied by experienced rangers and local guides, you’ll weave through dense jungle paths where sunlight filters through ancient canopies. The biodiversity here is remarkable, with vibrant plant life and the raw beauty of nature awakening your curiosity at every turn. Each step brings you deeper into a world where time stands still, and the forest whispers its secrets only to those willing to listen.
Deep within Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve, K50 Waterfall is a stunning 50-meter cascade nestled in untouched forest. Reaching it requires a jungle trek, but the reward is a breathtaking view of misty falls surrounded by wild nature. 3:30 PM – After saying goodbye to the majestic K50 Waterfall and the deep jungle, the group rides motorbikes along forest trails, making their way back to Dak Asel Village, where the spirit of the Central Highlands lives on in its people and traditions. 5:30 PM – Upon arrival, guests have time to refresh, clean up, and settle into their overnight stay—simple yet charming stilt houses that reflect the authenticity of Bahnar village life. 6:30 PM – As dusk falls over the mountains, a warm and hearty dinner, lovingly prepared by local Bahnar hosts, awaits. Gathered around a crackling campfire, you’ll be immersed in a magical Gong culture exchange, recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. The soulful melodies of Bahnar musicians, played on traditional instruments like the T’rung and K’ny, echo through the night, offering a rare and unforgettable connection to the land and its people.
6:30 AM Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast.
9:30 AM – The group receives their SUP boards and listens to a brief safety and paddling orientation from the guide. Then, the real experience begins — gliding gently across the crystal-clear waters of the lake. As you float peacefully, surrounded by the stillness of towering forests and distant mountains, a sense of calm washes over you. The gentle rhythm of paddling, the reflection of the sky on the water, and the silence of nature combine to create a truly unforgettable moment of connection with the wilderness.
11:00 AM – The group returns to Dak Asel Village to freshen up and enjoy a well-prepared local lunch, wrapping up the journey with the warm hospitality of the Bahnar people. 1:00 PM – After heartfelt farewells to the villagers, the group boards the vehicle for the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City. 7:00 PM – En route, the group stops to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, savoring regional flavors one last time.
