    Lizard island is situated 270 kilometers north of Cairns. The island is 26 kilometers from the mainland and is 1013 hectares in size. There are 23 beaches and the island is surrounded by reefs which are teaming with marine life, including hundreds of species of tropical fish and crustaceans, huge green turtles, manta rays, sting rays and at times Dugong that occasionally come into the bay. The blue lagoon is situated on the southern side of the island and boasts a magnificent beach, and the waters are Crystal clear and pristine. Your tour includes a local guide and commentary along with all meals and drinks including welcome fruits, gourmet lunch and afternoon tea.
