What to expect

We begin early in the morning with our 2-day - 1-night ascent of Huayna Potosí, one of the most iconic mountains in Bolivia. The first day takes us from the base camp, located 4,700 meters above sea level, to the high camp. The route offers us impressive views of the glaciers and surrounding landscapes, while we acclimatize to the altitude. Along the way, we will learn local legends about the mountain, a sacred place for indigenous communities. The day concludes at high camp, where we spend the night, enjoying a hot dinner and preparing for the next day's challenge.
At dawn on the second day, we began the final ascent towards the summit of Huayna Potosí, 6,088 meters above sea level. Climbing through ice and snow requires our concentration and physical effort, but the panoramic views of the Bolivian Andes that surround us make every step worth it. Reaching the summit is an indescribable experience, with a sense of achievement and wonder as you gaze out across the vast expanse of mountains and valleys. After enjoying a moment at the top, we began the descent back to the base camp, taking with us indelible memories of an epic adventure and the teachings of Bolivia's imposing nature.
