*Departure from La Paz Prepare your luggage, camera, and coat, as we will begin our exciting trip to the Salar de Uyuni. After the city of Oruro, we will visit Sora Sora with an extensive history of the development of Bolivia and its restoration project of the Suri Andino and Machacamarca, the main railway distribution center in the area. We will make a stop at the Urus Puñaka Tinta María community, located on the shores of the extinct Lake Poopó. We will continue our journey through the quinoa plantations and the desert until we reach the community of Tahua at the foot of Cerro Tunupa. Here we will stay in a salt hotel, owned by the community. You will have free time to explore the surroundings and enjoy the sunset. *Night Visit to the Salar: At night, we will visit the salt flat to marvel at the starry sky. The lack of light pollution allows for a unique experience of astronomical observation.
*Sunrise in the Salar de Uyuni Early in the morning, we will return to the salt flat to witness an impressive sunrise. This is one of the most magical moments to capture spectacular photos as the first rays of the sun illuminate the vast white landscape. We will continue exploring the salt flat in search of flamingos, elegant pink birds that live at the foot of the Tunupa Volcano. You will be able to observe their behavior and capture unique images of these beautiful birds in their natural habitat. *Return to La Paz: After enjoying the salt flat and its charms, we will begin our return to La Paz. On the way, we will make a stop at the Archaeological Center of Alcaya, where you can explore ancient ruins and learn about the history and cultures of a civilization that predated the colonization of the region. *Arrival to La Paz
