    Baku Old City

    Pick up from your hotel by your Baku (Azerbaijani) tour guide. Following this, visit Iceri Sheher (Old City) together. In Iceri Sheher and Old city, you can take awesome pictures. After Icherisheher, go to the Palace of Shirvanshahs. The Palace of the Shirvanshahs is a 15th-century palace built by the Shirvanshahs and described by UNESCO as "one of the pearls of Azerbaijan's architecture". Then, head to the Maiden Tower and Miniature Books Museum. Go to Caravanserai. Head to the Fountain Square. See National Boulevard. Baku Boulevard is a promenade established in 1909 which runs parallel to Baku's seafront. Its history goes back more than 100 years, to a time when Baku oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore and when the seafront was artificially built up inch by inch. Explore Carpet museum and Mini Venice.

    Nizami Street

    The street's history could be traced back to Baku's town-planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city's downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in the mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”. The total length of the street is 3,538 m. The traffic-free segment, which begins at the Fountains Square and ends at the Rashid Behbudov Street, is commonly known as Torgovaya ("the merchant street" in Russian).

    Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan Milli Xalça Muzeyi, formerly called the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum) is a museum located in Baku that displays Azerbaijani carpets and rugs of various weaving techniques and materials from various periods. It has the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world.First opened on Neftchiler Avenue in 1967, it moved to a new building on the Baku's seafront park in 2014.

    Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center

    The iconic Heydar Aliyev Centre was designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and is famous for its distinctive flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. As a brilliant piece of post-modern architecture, the building’s shape is an eternal cycle, connecting the past with the present. The building houses a conference hall, gallery halls, museums and more and seeks to unite people of diverse backgrounds in a place of shared ideas. The building won the London Design Museum award in 2014.

Back in 60s the mayor of Baku Alish Lambaranski who was inspired by his trip to Venice in Italy, decided to create similar experience in Baku.
