A short spring hike to discover the wild orchids present in the Alta Murgia National Park.
We will cross the green rocky pastures of the Murge karst plateau to identify and observe the beauty of the blooms of these plants belonging to the category of protected species according to CITES - Washington Convention.

We will explain the peculiarities that make unique these herbaceous plants known for their floral camouflage to attract pollinating insects for breeding. In fact, in this pseudo-Mediterranean steppe at hilly altitude, from March to June there are blooms of various species that go to color the undulating expanses of this vast and imposing limestone block.
