1Mercado Tlacolula
Our next stop will be Tlacolula, we will know one of the oldest traditional markets on the continent. In addition, we will buy the fresh ingredients to prepare them later and taste a typical food of the region.

When you arrive at Palenque CONVITE, you will be part of a real day of work in the production of the best selling mezcal in Oaxaca. More than just a demonstration site, our pallet is working, here you will know each stage of the process; from the selection of the agave to distillation. We will enjoy a tasting of mezcales in the company of maestro Daniel Hernández, one of the most famous master mezcaleros. Afterwards, we will enter the Zapotec mountains to appreciate the world’s only wild agave landscape, located 2,000 meters above sea level. Back at the Palenque, we will share a traditional mezcalero meal prepared by ourselves, and thus complement the experience of the flavors of Oaxaca.
