This combined Monteverde Cloud Forest Suspension Bridges and Night Walk tour allows you to discover one of Costa Rica’s most iconic ecosystems, both day and night, in a single experience designed to maximize your connection to nature.
During the daytime tour, you will walk along suspended suspension bridges over the cloud forest, with panoramic views ideal for bird watching, tropical flora and unique natural landscapes of Monteverde. At nightfall, you will live a guided nocturnal walk, where the forest transforms and you can observe frogs, insects, reptiles and other nocturnal species in their natural habitat.
Accompanied by a local naturalist guide specializing in the cloud forest, you will learn about biodiversity, behaviors and survival strategies of wildlife. This tour is ideal for lovers of ecotourism, wildlife, photography and authentic experiences in Monteverde.

Meeting and pickup
It is very important to remember that the road is a rural road and access is possible with any car, but it is still a small adventure to travel along this route and it will take 30 to 45 minutes to drive from the center of Santa Elena.
What to expect
Experience the best of Monteverde’s biodiversity on this unique combo tour combining the famous Hanging Bridges Jungle with a guided Night Wildlife Walk in a protected rainforest refuge.
Your adventure begins at Selvatura Park, where a professional naturalist guide leads you along scenic forest trails and spectacular suspension bridges high above the cloud forest canopy. From this unique perspective, you may observe tropical birds, hummingbirds, toucans, orchids, and, with some luck, the legendary Resplendent Quetzal. The hanging bridge walk continues until approximately 4:30 PM, while your guide explains the ecology and biodiversity of this extraordinary ecosystem.
After the canopy walk, we travel about 6 km to a nearby Wildlife Refuge for the second part of the experience.
As night falls, the forest becomes active with nocturnal life. During the guided night walk, you may observe frogs, sleeping birds, sloths, insects, bats, and reptiles.
This tour allows you to explore two protected reserves in one unforgettable afternoon and evening in Monteverde.
