This half day tour will take you to hike one of the most beautiful Great Wall sections at Mutianyu. Located in Huairou district and about 70 km from downtown Beijing, Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded with picturesque views. This section once worked as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs.     Pickup from centrally located Beijing hotel by local tour guide, drive approx. 1.5 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall, hike along the ancient wall to enjoy the beautiful scenery, appreciate beacon towers lying at some advantageous strategic forts. (Note: there are 3 ways to get onto the Wall, hiking up on foot, taking cable car or chair lift, you can choose your preferred one and pay on the spot for the cable car or chair lift). Drive back to downtown and drop off at your hotel after the trip.
