This is not your typical tourist walk. In about 4 hours, we'll weave through the labyrinthine alleys that once housed princes, scholars, and merchants, discovering architectural marvels that showcase the ingenious designs of ancient Chinese masters. Within these historic lanes, generations have left their mark. Their stories echo through time, painting a vivid picture of life during the golden ages of the Ming and Qing dynasties, when these neighborhoods were the beating heart of imperial Beijing.

there is a Square between bell and drum towers, many local people play in there, will enter the drum tower to overlook the central axis from north to south

This courtyard is larger than the first one and is now a small hotel. You can relax in the courtyard and further understand the architectural structure, layout, and building materials of the courtyard. There is also a rooftop terrace overlooking the courtyard. We will visit and have a snack here and end the whole trip here.
