Ayung River is 10 kilometers from Ubud. Tourists who visit the Ubud area can reach this location in 10 minutes and about 1 hour for those who come from Denpasar or Kuta. The characteristics of this river flow are included in class II to IV. Level four flows usually occur in the rainy season. This means that this river is suitable for beginner rafter. This is very suitable to be used as an arena for fun rafting.
You will see the beautiful scenery around the river. Rice fields and temples are along the rafting route. Although this is a small to moderate stream, some parts of the river also have several overdrafts that will be very dangerous for the beginner rafter. You must follow all instructions given by the guide and wear safety gear.
