What better way to get to know a town than a relaxed chat with a local? :) Join me for a nice walking tour during which I will share with you interesting stories from our towns rich history, some tips and trick for getting around and relevant information about best museums or restaurants to visit.
We will finish the tour with a glass of wine in an antique bookstore in the city center. This hidden urban and cultural haven for bookworms, art lovers and intelectuals is situated in a small apartment just above the central square, yet spared from the noise, the rush and the summer heat.
Relax and cool yourself while listening to smooth ambiental music in this salon-like bookstore imagined as a place of leisure and immersion into local Art and Litterature.

The triumphal arch of the renowned Sergi family still stands proud on one end of the most famous streets in Pula.
One of the "hidden gems" of Pula, a lovely mosaic was found during WWII and shows us the location of a once rich roman palace.
Temple dedicated to goddess Roma and Emperor Augustus stands right next to the medieval Venetian City Hall on Forum, where our tour ends.
In front of the park dedicated to fighters againt fascism during WWII stands a small model of Pula town center - perfect for explaining the city layout and the rest of our walking tour.
Through the story, we will go back to the Roman Ages and take a stroll through the long, rich and dramatic history of our most recognizable landmark. The story of our Arena can be told either from the outside or the inside, depending on the quests preference. (admission fee not included).

The visit to the Zerostrasse undergroung tunnel and Kaštel Fortress is optional, it's a bit of a climb up to the medieval fortress that today holds the Historic and Maritime museum and offers a nice view on the Amphitheatre as well as the shipyard side of town.
