    DAY 1 : Marrakech – Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

    Starts at 7:30 am from Marrakech towards Dades Valley through the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass (2260 m) in the High Atlas Mountains.You will have time to stop and enjoy a snaky road, impressive landscapes and Berber hamlets. You will have a chance to visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it was named by UNESCO in 1987.

    Ait Ben Haddou

    The next destination is a UNESCO world heritage site called Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, classified since 1986 where a few Berber families are still living supported by UNESCO. Ait Ben Haddou is one of many locations served as natural decoration for many movies which were shot in the Area such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Jesus of Nazareth”. With your guide you take a walk across the dried river to discover Ait Ben Haddou that dominates the Kasbah, once you get to the top of the hill.

    After breakfast at your hotel in Dades Valley, we will start our journey today with a drive along the Road of 1001 Kasbahs. This scenic route winds its way through the Dades Valley, passing by many ancient kasbahs, or fortified dwellings. The kasbahs are a testament to the rich history and culture of the region. We will stop at several of the kasbahs along the way, and you will have the opportunity to explore them and learn about their history. We will also stop at a viewpoint to take in the stunning views of the valley. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the oasis of Tinghir. This oasis is home to a number of palm groves and date plantations. We will take a walk through the oasis and enjoy the tranquility of the setting. We will then check into our hotel in Tinghir and have dinner. After dinner, we will have some free time to explore the town or relax at the hotel.

    Rissani

    After some free time to explore the cliffs and enjoy lunch, we will depart early in the afternoon for Rissani. Rissani is a small town that is famous for its dates market and its role as the starting point for historic commercial caravans that traversed the Sahara Desert to Timbuktu. We will arrive in Rissani in the late afternoon and check into our hotel. In the evening, we will have dinner and enjoy a traditional Moroccan performance.

    Merzouga Desert

    After a short break, we will continue our journey to Merzouga, a small town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we will pass through some rocky desert countryside. When we arrive in Merzouga, you can cool off in the refreshing pool before embarking on our dusk desert journey to the camp. We will meet our camel caravan and ride our camels across the spectacular color-changing sand dunes against the backdrop of the sunset. We will arrive at our Sahara desert tent just before dark.

    DAY 3 : Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

    After an early morning camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, we will arrive at the camp operator's lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you can take a shower and, if time allows, enjoy a brief dip in the lodge pool.
