If you’ve always wanted to climb an impressively high mountain, but couldn’t due to difficulty, this one’s for you.

Viševnik is a mountain that is both over 2000 meters (6500 feet) high and easily accessible with regular hiking gear. But that doesn’t mean that the views aren’t up to par: the panorama is one of the best around, as you get to see other, higher mountains from a prime perspective. Triglav (literally meaning three-headed), Slovenia’s highest mountain, can easily be seen from the top, as can other proud peaks of the Julian Alps.

Pickup time in Ljubljana is 8:00 AM. We meet in front of the Tivoli center building (across from Hotel Lev). Meeting point at Lake Bled is at the main Bus station, address Cesta svobode 4 - at 8:30

What to expect

Due to the easy incline of its south side, this hike is the quickest and easiest way to get to the spectacular views Slovenian Alpine world has to offer.
