The Erg Chebbi dunes are a long drive from Marrakech. Say no to public buses and yes to this great-value small-group tour, with overnight in a desert camp and camel safari in the Sahara. See the Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; stroll through the red mud alleys of the Taourirt Kasbah (own expense); and spend the night in the Dades gorges. Your tour includes transfers and half-board accommodation.

The Atlas separates Atlantic and Mediterranean Morocco from Saharan Morocco. The Tichka pass is the highest in Morocco, at 2260m, the road is snow-covered in winter and the stone and adobe houses of the villages cling to the sides of the mountain.
The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou illustrates the traditional earthen habitat, representative of South Moroccan culture, which has become vulnerable under the effect of irreversible socio-economic and cultural changes.
A charming center and a traditional Berber architecture with its earthen habitats. The valley could indeed represent a beautiful base off the beaten track and the relative absence of tourists will allow you to experience authentic Moroccan hospitality, far from the harassment of big cities.
15 km from the center of Tinghir, the gateway to the High Atlas, the villages of Tamtatoucht and Imilchil, the Todra gorges, high limestone cliffs that seem like a fault carved by the Todra wadi for millennia, impress by their spectacular sheer plunging down to the bed of the river. With peaks that rise up to 300 meters above the Todra which winds from its source in the High Atlas Mountains, the Todra Gorges occupy a primordial place in the valley
Merzouga is a small Moroccan town located in the Sahara Desert, near the Algerian border. Merzouga opens onto Erg Chebbi, a huge expanse of sand dunes north of the city. To the west is Dayet Srji, a seasonal salt lake, often dry in summer. When it fills up again, it attracts a wide variety of migratory and desert birds, including warblers, nightjars and, occasionally, flamingos.
The Taourirt Kasbah was built in the 17th century by the Glaoui tribe. It is famous thanks to its seniority. Indeed, it was one of the first great Berber architectures built!
