Teresa invites you to immerse yourself in an authentic Sicilian gastronomic and cultural experience.Visiting the Point of Sale with a Guide is not like visiting it independently discover the true local traditions.The experience begins at 8:45 am with the tour to the Point of Sale which is located near the port. Enjoy a delightful walk through the bustling Point of Sale, Food Shopping, discovering local flavors, basic Mediterranean cuisine recipes, tasting Sicilian specialties and details on fresh and preserved foods.The tour lasts one hour and you will receive the family cookbook for free.A 15-minute drive away is the Villa in the Arenella bathing area where the lesson will take place starting around 10.15am.Transport is available extra €20 per person.In Teresa's Villa you will be guided to the preparation of traditional and family recipes, using some of the fresh ingredients selected at the Point of Sale. The lesson lasts two hours, then enjoy your time.

The fresh or dry pasta with meat, vegetables or fish sauce. You can specify your preferences, I can also satisfy you with a vegetarian menu.

Traditional Sicilian dessert ,usually dessert with fresh ricotta
We will make a dessert with local product : ricotta, almonds or pistachio, tiramisu, rolle’, almonds cake, pistachio cake, cannoli.

Meeting and pickup
Point of Sale Burgio Salumeria. Cooking class : via Molucca islands 8 t ARENELLA SYRACUSE. Transportation can be arranged. In the months : May, November and December ,on specific request,the lesson is also in Teresa’s winter apartment near Ortigia.
What to expect
Afterwards, from 10:15 to 13:00, you will move to Teresa’s house, a cozy Villa in Arenella (15 minutes drive from the Point of Sale) where the most engaging part of the experience will begin: the cooking lesson.
Transportation can only be arranged if requested at the time of Reservation.
At Teresa’s house you will cook together three traditional Sicilian recipes, in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
The lesson will be a moment of sharing the preparation of family recipes.
If you are a family or group of more than 6 people, contact me before booking you can take advantage of a discount.
If your Accommodation is in Ortigia and you don't want to travel too far, ask for availability for a lesson in an apartment near Ortigia, address : Corso Gelone 36.
