Basilica del Santo Nino, which houses a revered 16th-century statuette of the Christ child (Santo Niño). Across the street you can see Magellan’s Cross, which was installed by Portuguese and Spanish explorers under orders from Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in 1521.

4Taoist Temple
After morning pickup from your Cebu hotel, travel in a private vehicle about four miles (6km) outside the city center to the Cebu Taoist Temple. Step inside the Taoist Temple, which was built by the city's Chinese community in the 1970s. Pass the Carbon Market, where most of the city’s fresh produce is sold.
