Take on The Flying Dutchman — the world’s steepest zipline. Secured in a chair-style harness, launch down the mountain on an incredible 2,800-ft (853 m) ride with a 1,050-ft (320 m) elevation drop.
Between the thrills, enjoy incredible photo opportunities and discover the history of Rockland Estate and the Emilio Wilson Museum.

Please arrive directly at Rainforest Adventures St. Maarten – Rockland Estate at least 30 minutes before your selected tour time for check-in. Please make sure to arrive on time, as your reservation is valid for the specific time slot selected at booking.
What to expect
Board the Soualiga Sky Explorer for a scenic ride up the mountainside, enjoying spectacular Caribbean views along the way. Stop at the mid-station for the Schooner Ride, where you’ll hop into an inner tube and twist through the curves and straightaways of a specially designed track.
Then, ride the Sky Explorer toward Sentry Hill, gear up, and soar across the mountain ridge on the Sentry Hill Zipline. Finish with the ultimate thrill: The Flying Dutchman, the world’s steepest zipline, descending 1,050 ft (320 m) in elevation over an exhilarating 2,800-ft (853 m) ride.
Allow up to 5 hours to enjoy the complete experience, depending on attendance and wait times. When your adventure is complete, taxis are available outside Rockland Estate to take you back to the cruise port, your hotel, or your next destination.

- Attractions operate weather permitting and may be delayed or temporarily suspended when conditions require it.
- Late Arrivals / No-Shows: Guests who arrive late or fail to show up for their scheduled activity are not eligible for a refund.
- Schooner Ride: Height 42–80 in (107–203 cm); maximum weight 275 lb (125 kg). One guest per tube, and children must be able to hold on independently throughout the ride.
- Sentry Hill Zipline: Height 52–80 in (132–203 cm); weight 80–275 lb (36–125 kg).
- Flying Dutchman: Height 52–80 in (132–203 cm); weight 100–275 lb (45–125 kg).
- To participate in all attractions, guests must meet the individual height and weight requirements listed above. Purchasing a child ticket does not guarantee eligibility for every attraction.
