Cruise toward Starfish Point, where shallow, clear waters let you see the island’s famous starfish in their natural environment. Step into the warm Caribbean water, look for the unusual upside-down jellyfish, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before continuing your evening on the water.
As daylight fades, continue by boat toward Grand Cayman’s Bioluminescent Bay. Once darkness settles in, watch millions of tiny organisms illuminate the water with every movement and splash, creating a natural light show around the boat.
Stay aboard and take it all in, or choose an optional swim and step into the glowing water yourself, watching the bioluminescence come alive with every movement around you.

Hotel Pickup: If you provided the full name of your participating Seven Mile Beach or George Town accommodation at the time of booking, please follow the pickup details provided with your reservation.
Hotels Outside Seven Mile Beach & George Town: Your meeting point will be Kaibo Dock. Your exact meeting time will be confirmed after booking.
If you did not provide your accommodation details at the time of booking, your meeting point will be Raleigh Quay Private Dock.
Please arrive at your assigned pickup location or meeting point at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

1Starfish Point
Begin your evening with a scenic boat ride across Grand Cayman’s coastal waters toward Cayman Kai. Boat departure is at 6:30 PM during the summer season and 5:30 PM during the winter season. Complimentary hotel pickup is available for guests staying in participating areas, or you can meet the crew directly at your assigned dock. Arrive at Starfish Point, a peaceful stretch of shallow, clear Caribbean water known for the starfish that live naturally along its sandy bottom. Step into the warm water for a closer look, and keep an eye out for the unusual upside-down jellyfish also found in the area. Enjoy the warm Caribbean water and the colors of the evening before boarding the boat again and continuing toward the highlight of the night: Cayman’s Bioluminescent Bay, where the next part of your adventure begins after dark.

2Bioluminescent Bay
Enter Cayman Kai’s Bioluminescent Bay and watch the water come alive with millions of tiny glowing organisms. Every movement and splash lights up the water around you, creating an incredible natural light show beneath the night sky. Learn about this fascinating natural phenomenon from your local crew and choose to experience it from the boat or take an optional swim in the glowing water. After your time in Bio Bay, board the boat for the scenic return journey. The complete boat experience lasts approximately 2 hours, dock to dock.

Hotel pick-up is available only within the Seven Mile Beach area. If hotel information is not provided at the time of booking, the standard meeting point will be Raleigh Quay Private Dock.
- Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon, and its intensity and visibility can vary from night to night depending on environmental conditions. Promotional photos were taken with professional camera equipment during optimal conditions and may appear brighter or more vivid than what is visible to the naked eye.
- Swimming in Bioluminescent Bay is optional. Guests may remain aboard the boat and enjoy the phenomenon without entering the water.
- Starfish and other marine life are observed in their natural environment. Wildlife sightings and quantities may vary and cannot be guaranteed. Please follow your crew’s instructions when interacting with marine life.
- This tour operates subject to suitable marine and weather conditions. The itinerary or water activities may be modified or canceled when conditions make it necessary for guest safety.
- Bring a swimsuit and towel if you plan to swim, along with comfortable clothing appropriate for an evening on the water.
- Avoid applying lotions, oils, or other products immediately before swimming in Bioluminescent Bay, as they may affect the sensitive ecosystem
- You are welcome to bring your own beverages and snacks, but glass bottles are not permitted.
