Dong Van
17h00: Arrive and check in hotel at Dong Van town. Dong Van district is the starting point of Vietnam with a border stretching hunderds of kilometers with China. With a populattion of mainly ethnic minorities living such á: Hmong, Tay, Nung, Lo Lo, Co Lao, San Chi, San Diu .... but most of them are Hmong (about 70%). The most famous is Dong Van old Quarter, since ancient times this is the major trading center of the whole region to this day. On Sunday mornings in Dong Van old town, there is a market of local people from everywhere flocking to gather, buy and sell busy. 19h30: Have dinner at old Quarter. After you can walk around.

Dong Van - Lung Cu - Meo Vac (60km: B + L + D)

Lung Cu Flag Tower
Previously, Lung Cu flagpole was built during the Ly dynasty with the shape of just a sa moc tree. By 1887, France rebuilt it. Then in 1992, 2000 and especially 2002, this flagpole was restored many times with the size and scale increasing over time. Including the year 2002, at that time the flagpole was erected with a height of about 20m, the base and pedestal of the pole were hexagonal shaped and at the base of the pole were 6 reliefs depicting the surface of Dong Son bronze drums. Moreover, at the top of the flagpole there is a 9m high flagpole, with the Vietnamese national flag 9m long, 6m wide and a total area of ​​54 square meters. Ma Pi Leng Pass

On Sunday mornings, they gather at the Meo Vac town market for trade and meetings. Lung Tam village – A handicraft village of the Hmong people nestled in the middle of Lung Tam valley.
