Pilanesberg National Park is one of the most fascinating Big 5 game reserves located 2.5 hours’ drive from Johannesburg, and is also the most accessible being in a malaria free environment. The Park and covers an area of 55 000 hectares, it is home to a wide variety of southern Africa’s animals like; the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo and lion), cheetahs’ giraffe’s, zebras, hyenas, wild dogs’ crocodiles, antelopes, and some 300 bird species to name a few.
