Next, you'll explore the flower garden, also known as the Clos Normand. Much of Monet's painting was inspired by this garden.
Finally, you'll enter Monet's famous house, where the painter dedicated his passions to painting, gardening, and photography. Claude Monet's property in Giverny, bequeathed by his son to the Académie des Beaux-Arts in 1966, became the Claude Monet Foundation after extensive restoration work, opening in 1980. The vast Water Lilies studio, just steps from the house, has also been restored and houses the Foundation's shop.
