    Marrakech – Imlil 1740m – Toubkal Refuge 3207m

    Marrakech

    You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech, and driven to the Imlil Valley from where you will start the hike. Once welcomed by the local team, you will hike in the Aït Mizane Valley, towards the village of Aremd and then the sanctuary of Sidi Chamarouch and the nearby waterfall. Continue on steep trails to the Toubkal Refuge, where you will spend the night in a refuge. (5-6 hours of walking)

    Refuge 3207m – Toubkal summit 4167m – refuge 3207m – Imlil 1740m – Marrakech

    Start the day early to reach the summit of Jbel Toubkal, the highest point in North Africa. Cross streams and make your way through rocks. Reach the plateau and take a break to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding area including the Marrakech plain and the High Atlas to the north, and the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara to the south. Once at the summit, gently start the return journey down the mountain and towards Imlil, then to Marrakech. Approximately 10 to 12 hours of walking + 1.5 hours of driving.
