What to expect

Depart from Marrakech and enjoy a guided day trip through the High Atlas Mountains to learn about Berber culture and traditions. Admire the scenic landscapes, learn about local traditions and industry, and sample local food and drink.

Meet your guide at your accommodation in the morning and begin the transfer to Imlil. On your way, cross the town of Tahnaout. Stop at an argan oil cooperative to learn how the women of the cooperative process argan nuts into many of the argan oil products that Morocco is famous for. You will then continue through Asni where, on Saturdays, a traditional Berber souk and market can be visited.

Once you arrive in Imlil, enjoy a welcome glass of mint tea and meet your guide before beginning your tour of the region. Your guide will help you decide on the length of your visit (you can choose between 1 and 3 hours), then you will head to the largest and highest village in the Imlil valley.
