The Atlas Coal Mine in Drumheller, Alberta, is a National Historic Site and a unique cultural landscape. It's the last of 139 mines in the Drumheller Valley and the most complete historic coal mine in Canada. The site includes underground and surface workings, residential buildings, and the last wooden tipple in Canada. It was active from 1936 to 1984 and now operates as a historic site and museum.

"11 Bridges to Wayne" in the Drumheller area holds a Guinness World Record for the most bridges found within the shortest distance.
