    Dalhousie Square was created in the heart of the imperial capital of Kolkata. After independence in 1947, the area was renamed after three martyrs of the freedom movement - Binoy, Badal, and Dinesh commonly known as the BBD Bagh. In 1885 Queen Victoria took over the administration of India from the East India Company and Kolkata became the capital of British India this place remained the nerve center of power till 1911 when the capital was shifted to Delhi. With a huge tank in the center, you will drive past 15 historic colonial heritage buildings surrounding this city square.
