Travel through the main street of Kaikoura South past the information centre towards the seal colony and take your first right off the Esplanade on to Killarney st. Please check in 15 minutes prior to departure.

Watch playful New Zealand fur seals dive and swim beneath your kayak as the sun sets over the majestic Seaward Kaikoura Mountains. The changing light creates surreal reflections across the bay while seals hunt for their favorite meal—octopus—right before your eyes. Keep a respectful distance as they feast, and soak in the natural spectacle of the evening light show.
