Enjoy a brief sightseeing tour of fabled Casablanca. Next it’s on to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to visit the bustling Medina (old city) and the minaret of the Hassan Tower.

Make your way through the far reaches of Morocco’s eastern perimeter to within 20km of Algeria’s border where you will encounter the magnificent Erg Chebbi dune landscape. Morocco’s most famous Saharan dune is just breathtaking and transforming to the soul. On foot or camel back, you have the option to travel into the remote dunes to reach your Nomadic-style camp hidden in the dunes. An evening sunset climb to one of the higher dunes is customary, followed by dinner and perhaps a campfire experience and Berber songs and storytelling can be arranged.

Today our Morocco journey continues towards Ifrane, through hills covered in forests of cork oak and giant cedar, home of a few Barbary apes.

After lunch in Midelt, We will then head south to Erfoud and Rissani, a huge oasis containing over six million palm trees, edged by many ksours. Continuing along a striking route that marks the transition to desert, when We reach Merzouga.

We will be greeted with a glass of tea. We have time to relax, then We get ready to ride camels into the pink sands of Morocco’s highest dunes. We will have time to wander the dunes before sunset. Dinner is served, followed by traditional music and the night in a nomad tent.

Day 4
MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT - RISSANI – TODGHA GORGE - DADES GORGES

We wake up early to watch the spectacle of sunrise, when the colour of the dunes combine with the play of shadows to make an awesome sight. After breakfast We ride the camels for a couple of hours before leaving for Tinghir and Todra Gorges for lunch.
