    our journey to Fez starts bright and early with a pick up from your Marrakech hotel over the High Atlas Mountains (plenty of photo opportunities) and down into the Southern foothills to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

    Ait Ben Haddou

    There you can cross the stepping stones in the traditional way to this amazing and authentically Moroccan World Heritage site. From there we’ll move further from the mountains to Ouarzazate – the famed Gateway to the Sahara before loosely following the river Dades through the beautiful valleys. You’ll end your day with a tasty dinner and a comfortable riad.

    Dades – Toudgha Gorges – Merzouga – Overnight Stay with Camel Ride

    Discover Todra Gorge with Locals - Tourist Information & Experience Center

    After breakfast in the hotel we travel toward Todgha valley to visit the valley and its gorges.We lunch in Tinjdad then we drive to Erfoud, the capital of fossils, then to Merzouga where the dunes of Erg Chebbi is.

    We take a break for an hour in pleasant hotel and if you want you can take a swim in the swimming pool and get yourself ready for the camel trek.Just two hours before sunset we ride camels for one hour and half to watch the amazing sunset over sand dunes and we stop for the night at a nomad camp where we will have dinner, and then the nomads will play Berber music for us around the campfire. Overnight in luxury camp.

    Merzouga to Fez via Ziz Valley and Cedar Forest

    Merzouga

    Getting up early is suggested to witness the sunrise from the top of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Afterward, we return by camel to the hotel where you are able to have a shower and have a yummy breakfast.

    Fez

    Then we depart for Fes through the Atlas Mountains. On the way, we pass many small Berber cities like Erfoud, Errachidia and valley Ziz. We stop for lunch in the Midelt area before coming in Fez.
